Hey Rocky River Church. Just wanted to remind you that shoebox gifts for Samaritan’s Purse are due this Sunday, November 20! I’m asking that EVERYONE to bring a packed box. Lets do all that we can as a church to show the practical love of Jesus to people all over the world! Thank you guys for being SO generous.
Here’s a link that gives directions for how to pack your box. http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index.php/OCC/Pack_A_Shoe_Box/
If you have further questions, send me an email at Jimmy@RockyRiverChurch.com.
The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” When you give in this way – even something as simple as a shoebox gifts – you are giving people Jesus; which is life and hope. God has given us Jesus, so we “give” Jesus to others.
PS. Beginning Sunday, November 27, I will be introducing our Christmas series! Can you believe that Christmas is already here?! :)

I just wanted to take a moment to say that we had two AWESOME Christmas Eve services! I think when the math is calculated we had around 700 people for both nights. AND...[drum role please]...we had more than 50 people make first time decisions to follow Christ! Our volunteers (ACROSS THE BOARD) were phenomenal as usual. Parking, while a challenge with the shuttling folks to Pitts Elementary School, went very well (thank you Brian and Angie for your "over the top" service. That goes for the whole parking team). The band ROCKED! Wow, I mean the band ROCKED the house! It was wonderful to see people bringing their friends and family to church. We had folks come up from Albemarle, Rock Hill and even MYRTLE BEACH! Thank you hospitality team for making everyone feel so welcome!
To our Staff Team - I would charge Hell with a water pistol with you guys. You had an awesome plan for everything tonight from the service order to parking and everything in between. Will, Donnie, Teresa, Brian and Amy - I love you so much! BIG WIN LAST NIGHT AND TONIGHT! WAY TO GO TEAM! We have much to look forward to.
On a personal note, my family would like to thank everyone at Rocky River Church for the cards and goodies. We have never felt so much love, nor have we ever been more proud to serve the Lord with you guys. Thank you for making our lives and ministry so enjoyable.
So, from our family to yours, Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year! Keep believing and trusting in God. God's best for our lives is yet to come. We love you! And God bless us everyone...!

With all the hurt and pain in the world many feel like there's no way to have "joy." I will show you three reasons why you can have Christmas joy no matter what the circumstances are in your life and the world.
Christmas Eve Services. Our Christmas Eve services are meaningful and fun. By that I mean that we do the things that add meaning and value in your life, but we have a good time too. Our live music will be INCREDIBLE. I will be bringing a short, encouraging message from Luke 2. We offer three identical Christmas Eve services. The dates and times are: December 23rd at 6:30pm and December 24th at 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
